Reference Bar
A reference bar is the elementary pattern of the Environment.
The standard reference bar is a chain of several IR markers placed at a certain distance.
The appearance of reference bars differs depending on the type of the Environment.
- In Floor tracking area reference bars are represented by flexible tapes with markers installed onto them.
- In Ceiling tracking area reference bars consist of chains of IR markers that are installed in holes in ceiling tiles.
- In Truss tracking area reference bars are aluminum housings with three markers. The markers are protected by IR transparent acrylic glass.
