What's new in release 3.3.0?

With the new release 3.3.0, we’ve implemented support for the Linux platform. We are announcing a new product — Truss Reference Bars. It improves the user experience for virtual production studios. The updates include enhancements in AntilatencyService and new Unity Samples for VR headsets based on Antilatency SDK 3.0.0 and higher. All updates from this release are available for Unreal Engine 4.27.

Truss Reference Bars

With this release, we are announcing a brand new product for virtual production studios — Truss Reference Bars. You can now organize a truss tracking area — a type of ceiling tracking area mounted onto a truss system. The bars are compatible with Global Truss F33250, F34250, and their analogues. Read this article to learn more.
We’ve also added new tutorials in the “How to” section in the Developers tab on our website. You can find “Environment examples for truss tracking areas” and “How to set up a truss tracking area” materials that will help you set up the area and configure the software.
We’ve also added a new preset for the truss tracking area in the Environment creator in AntilatencyService.

Linux platform support

We’ve added support for Debian-based Linux distributions (aarch64, x86_64) in Native SDK. You can already create a build in our SDK generator. From now, you can use our system with GNU/Linux based desktop system as well as with microcomputers Raspberry Pi, RADXA Zero, Jetson Nano, etc.

New Unity samples for VR headsets

We’ve updated Unity samples for VR headsets on GitHub. From now on, all builds work on Antilatency SDK 3.0.0 or higher. New samples are also compatible with the new generation of headsets: Vive Focus 3 (AltTrackingXrSample) and Pico Neo 3 (AltTrackingPicoHmdSample).

UE 4.27 support and early developer builds for UE 5EA

All updates from this release are available for Unreal Engine 4.27 along with early developer builds for UE 5EA2.
