Power supply for ceiling and truss tracking areas

The switched-mode power supply has a metal case and is designed to provide power to the ceiling and truss tracking areas.

Ease of use

The switched-mode power supply comes in a standard metal case that is designed for surface mounting. The device features compact dimensions, reduced no-load consumption, universal input voltage range, wide operating temperature range, and short circuit, overcurrent, and overvoltage protection. The heat is dissipated by natural convection.
Features of the power supply:
It is recommended to connect no more than 12 reference bars in one circuit. The total number of reference bars per 1 power supply is no more than 36 pcs.

Device Mounting Requirements

Before starting installation or maintenance of the power supply, disconnect the device from the mains and the tracking area.
Make sure that the power supply cannot be accidentally reconnected to the mains!
Ensure good ventilation for the device to avoid overheating. The distance to heat sources should be at least 10-15 cm.

Default kit

The default configuration for the ceiling tracking area includes only the switched-mode power supply.
The default kit for the truss tracking area includes the following items:

Plugs and connections

The power supply is equipped with an AS-216-EN input connector with a switch and three KF2EDGWB-5.08 output connectors.
To connect IR markers of a ceiling tracking area to a power supply you will need:
Strictly observe the polarity of the IR marker connection to avoid damage! It is forbidden to connect or disconnect IR markers while the power supply is running!
H05VV-F 2x1.5 cable, included in default kit, is used to connect truss tracking area to a power supply. It is necessary to insert the cable with the mating part into the KF2EDGWB-5.08 connector and fix it with two screws built into the pluggable terminal block.
The other cable end is inserted into the GX16 connector of the reference bar and tightened with a fixing nut.
It is forbidden to connect or disconnect reference bars while the power supply is running!

Installation options

The power supply is used with a truss or a ceiling tracking area. In the first case, the power supply is mounted onto the truss segment using special brackets with elastic mountings.
For a ceiling tracking area, the device is mounted onto a rigid surface (walls, columns) in the vicinity of the ceiling tracking area.
